Muncie 4-Speed, 10-bolt rearend, and 389 all fully rebuilt.

Complete Muncie rebuild, rearend rebuilt and a Yukon Locker added. The 389 is now a 400 with forged rods / pistons, Edelbrock Heads, Butler / Comp. custom grind cam, roller lifters & rockers, customized performer rpm intake and Holley Sniper EFI system. Not to mention the QA1 suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes.

Edelbrock Perform RPM gets customized.

Intake Manifold

Factory cast iron on the right, Brand New Performer RPM on the left.

Performer RPM Mods

First the water passage gets a divorce.

Modified Performer RPM tops off the engine beautifully.

Let's install the power!

The Power is now in place.

The engineers in 66 did not anticipate long tube headers, which just makes for so much fun these days!

Fitting the headers

It was a little tricky getting the fit correct without scratching any of the beautiful Pontiac silver blue metallic engine paint.

Fits like a glove

Whew, it fits, well mostly, factory oil filter location might be a slight problem. But that's ok, more customization.

Now for the bellhousing and Muncie

Fit so easily.

Yeah the oil filter is an issue.

Yeah the oil filter is an issue.

Wow did not expect that such a light transmission would be such a pain to install.

Yeah the oil filter is an issue.

Yeah the oil filter is an issue.

Yeah the oil filter is an issue.

But the long tube ceramic coated headers sure are beautiful.
